Impressions:

This most recent series of "Impressions" paper pieces incorporate the spherical globe(s) that I've been creating during this time of COVID. Reflecting on our earth's crises, as we attempt to instigate, abate and survive pandemic and societal wars - I think of how we reflect onto each other and perpetuate so much of what we are trying to end.

These paper works, mounted onto wood panel, are screen printed, embossed and developed further by many pigments and color concoctions. Each of these is a journey through time and history - and through my studio lens. I believe them to finally be done.
