The Drawing Room will be hosting an Alt-Process Photography Exhibition at its 210 Clement St. gallery October 17th, 2024 - January 6, 2025.  We invite artists to submit photography created using alternative processes including, but not limited to, cyanotype, albumen, gum bichromate printing, photograms, anthotypes, daguerrotypes, gelatin silver prints, image transfers, infrareds, lumens, photogravure, polaroid, etc.

*If these dates do not work for you, please contact Courtney asap, courtney@drawingroomsf.com.  We are hosting Open Studios 10/11-10/13 and so will not be having drop off those days unless special arrangements are made.  

Our goal is to showcase a snapshot of work from each artist, so we encourage you to submit 3-5+ works.  You can also provide additional unframed/unmounted prints.  We also welcome accessible price points in the range of $100 to $1000.

Fee: Sliding scale $5-$25. Submission fees go directly into our campaign to pay for the space and people it takes to host these exhibitions. Ability to pay has no bearing on acceptance into the show.  Please submit your fee via venmo (@drawingroomsf) or drop off cash/check to 210 Clement. 

Please note that 50% of revenue goes to The Drawing Room 

Submission guidelines:

-All 2D works must be larger than 10”, and no larger than 30” in any direction.

-All 2D works must arrive ready to install on the wall, with DRings and wire, sawtooth hanger or cleat system. Works not ready to hang will not be accepted due to the short time we have to curate and get the show open to the public. -Works will be on display until the exhibition ends.

-Sold works will be available for pick up the week after the show closing.
