Nail Fetish, an exhibition of over 50+ works of art, created by many as a preservationist and educator, Tom Seligman. Tom’s life work of conservation and the curation of works related, has directly impacted the work Tom, the artist has been proliferating over the past decade or so. Tom uses language, irony, storytelling and the buffoonery of human history to inform his explorations with symbolic items such as hardware - the nail, and the Ken doll, and even his own self-portrait. Join the Drawing Room as we listen to Tom fill the room with stories that will take us on a journey of ritual, mystique and his explorations with materials.
