CALLING ALL SAN FRANCISCO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!

This OPEN CALL FOR ART hopes to provide our City's Young Artists with space to share their work in a beautiful & centrally located venue that is open & accessible to all. We want to share this space with you and provide an opportunity to for you to show your artwork and creativity! We hosted this show once before at our location at 780 Valencia street and exhibited the works of over 350 high school students representing over 20 schools! We hope to have at least this many submissions again and twice as many schools represented so please spread the word! You can see a video of our previous show HERE

This exhibition will demonstrate the importance of art in our daily lives and its critical role for teenagers, especially now. We encourage students to submit a piece of work that best represents them. We have very large space to fill with visual art, as well space to host live performances in music and poetry/spoken word. We want people to see, hear and experience what you are creating!

We are seeking additional funding to move parts of this exhibition (in particular large class projects and installations) to a Downtown location in the summer of 2025, as part of the city-wide effort to rejuvenate areas of the city that are still affected by COVID.  We are also hoping to do another call for art in the new 2025/26 school year that would take place in the fall of 2025.  Please stay tuned on that.
