Electric City was inspired by San Francisco, as an offshoot of Silicon Valley. It refers to the new digital city made up of technology companies. The sphere shape connotes global influence and reach. Striped patterns allude to electronic connection and movement over photography of patterns from San Francisco. The dimensional surface texture references the built environment of the city, where the physical and the virtual co-exist. Electric City demonstrates a new dimensional experiment for my paper-based work.
