Lost:

Is someone dear to someone else. She must have painted this picture knowing all too well it would one day be discarded. Lost is the past time of looking at nudes on printed paper, flipping the pages with the hopes of discovering. Lost is the naked body as nostalgia as archival history.

Found:

Is this little painting in the bric-a-brac aisle of a thrift store. His look seemed out of context so I imagined this swarm of ominous butterflies. Found is this poem, hiding somewhere inside. I found it and made it part of this art, this conversation.
